Hello friends,
Welcome to my newsletter! You're receiving this newsletter if you signed on to share newsletters via Netvverk.
As summer turns to fall in New England, I'm writing to reflect on the past year and share my thoughts and reflections on my journey as an artist. It's been an incredible year, full of challenges and successes, but I've learned much and grown as an artist.
One of the year's highlights was a juried exhibition at the Masur Museum of Art, Monroe, Louisiana. I was delighted to have my work displayed in a historic museum space in the American South. I also had the chance to participate in two other group shows, the Small Works exhibition with the James May Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Weather Patterns at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art in New Haven, Connecticut,
I'm particularly grateful to the Ely Center of Contemporary Art for their support in including my work in their Weather Patterns exhibit: I continue to create images about our changing natural world, including the oil painting above, Rhododendron, which I completed during a record-setting heat wave amid the Canadian wildfire smoke that blanketed New England this summer.
As the seasons change in New England, I look forward to what the future brings. I hope to send this newsletter to you a few times a year, and in the meantime, please visit my website.
Thank you for being a part of my journey!
