Dear art enthusiasts and supporters,
I'm excited to announce my participation in three exhibitions this summer, each highlighting the critical theme of environmental impact:
· A solo show with innovative Teravarna Fine Art Gallery, Los Angeles, CA
· A group show with Ely Center of Contemporary Arts, New Haven, CT
· A group benefit exhibition at A.I.R. Gallery, Brooklyn, NY
Teravarna Fine Art Gallery: Solo Exhibition
My lyrical abstract paintings that depict our changing natural world are now on display at Teravarna Fine Art Gallery. This innovative online platform extends the reach of my work globally, embracing technology to connect artists with audiences in fresh, meaningful ways. [View the exhibition]
"color(less)" at Ely Center of Contemporary Art
Curator Michelle Szabo has assembled a group of artists who address environmental concerns in this thought-provoking exhibition. "Color(less)" explores the often-overlooked issue of light pollution and its detrimental effects on living creatures. The show utilizes online spaces and digital projections at the New Haven gallery.
As Szabo describes, the exhibition focuses on "a less talked-about pollution that we humans produce called light pollution," highlighting the negative impacts of artificial light on ecosystems. [Explore the exhibit]
A.I.R. Gallery's Annual Benefit: "Wish You Were Here: The Second Best Time Is Now"
For those in New York City, I encourage you to support the historic A.I.R. Gallery's annual benefit postcard show. This year's theme urgently addresses the climate crisis, emphasizing the need for immediate action.
The exhibition highlights how climate change disproportionately affects women and girls. A.I.R. Gallery cites Katherine Wilkinson in The New York Times, "Climate change is a collective problem, but its burdens—displacement, homelessness, poverty, sexual violence, disease—weigh more heavily on women and girls.”
I'm honored to participate in these exhibitions that merge art with environmental advocacy. Each show offers a unique perspective on our changing natural world and the urgent need for awareness and action.
Wishing you a summer of inspiration and environmental awareness.
